Solid cherry hand made desk with hinged slant front opening to envelope slots and small drawers (three of which have inset shell carving) , over base fitted with four graduated depth drawers. All lower drawers with locks. Original bracket feet. Original pine backboards with hand made nails. Original brass hardware. Provenance: Purchased at DuMouchelles in September 1993.
