A pair of carved lacquer and gilt wood wall ornaments. Offers ornately carved peony blossoms and scroll forms. Depth 2.5". Provenance: Estate of Jack Faxon, Birmingham, MI. Michigan Senator and creator of the Michigan Council for the Arts.
Minor losses to edges. Each having two rectangular pierced wood panels nailed to the bases that appear unoriginal (one is missing). Very beautiful. CP
