MARC-LOUIS SOLON, (FRENCH 1835-1913), PATE-SUR-PATE PORCELAIN VESSEL, CA. EARLY 20TH C., H 9", DIA 4 1/4"

A porcelain vessel by famed French porcelain artist Marc-Louis Solon for Mintons, probably from the early 20th century. This piece features a cherub with doves in the renowned pâte-sur-pâte technique. Having gilded embellishments. The piece signed "L Solon" to the lower right of the composition and branded "Mintons" to the underside.


Condition:
Old restoration at shaft and at one handle. These are very good restorations. There is no crazing on the vase. The gold trim is in good condition. TW 12-07-18
